Zarya Rubin, MD

Dr. Rubin is a Harvard-educated Functional Medicine Physician and the founder and CEO of Dr. Zarya, Functional Medicine and Coaching in Portland, OR. She studied Neurology at McGill University and the renowned Neurological Institute at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. She received her Health Coach training at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, studying with Dr. Andrew Weil,  Dr. Mark Hyman, Dr. Deepak Chopra and other leading influencers in the world of holistic health. She then went on to complete advanced training in Functional Medicine at the School of Applied Functional Medicine and has received her Level 1 and Level 2 certification. 

She is a writer, keynote speaker, and private health coach, helping women struggling with burnout, autoimmune disease, hormone imbalance and other stress-related illness. Dr. Rubin has worked in clinical medicine, as well as the medical and pharmaceutical industry, and now focuses on 1:1 holistic and integrative functional medicine, helping women to achieve balance and reclaim their health.

Dr. Rubin enjoys speaking and teaching on various aspects of stress, burnout, the mind-body connection, and using functional medicine as a tool to achieve optimal wellness. She is excited to be partnering with the team at NWEPS.
